Refund policy

Overview

Deadletter.(“Deadletter”) is operated by Kovva from the Netherlands. Paid subscriptions are sold through Paddle, which acts as merchant of record. Paddle processes payments, issues invoices, and handles applicable taxes.

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for Deadletter Pro. It supplements our terms of service.

Free plan

The Free plan does not require payment. No refunds apply.

Pro subscriptions

Pro is billed monthly (or as shown at checkout). When you subscribe, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

  • Cancel anytime — Use the Paddle customer portal from your billing page. After cancellation, Pro access continues until the end of the current paid billing period.
  • No partial-month refunds — We do not refund unused time within a billing period after cancellation, except where required by law.
  • Trials — If a free trial is offered at checkout, you will not be charged until the trial ends unless you cancel before it ends.

Refund requests

If you believe you were charged in error, were billed after cancelling, or are entitled to a refund under consumer law, contact us within 14 days of the charge:

support@deadletter.kovva.io

Include your account email and, if possible, your Paddle receipt or transaction reference. We review requests fairly and aim to respond within a few business days.

Approved refunds are processed through Paddle to your original payment method. Timing depends on your bank or card issuer (typically 5–10 business days).

EU consumers

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase. For digital services that begin immediately at your request, this right may not apply once delivery has started, as permitted by law. If you have questions about your rights, contact us before or after subscribing.

Chargebacks

If you have a billing problem, please email us first so we can resolve it quickly. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated.
